ENOUGH!

Does it really matter what and how we think?

We can’t do anything, nothing not even blink

We get judged by the clothes we wear and the way we talk

It disgusts me to see this in fact puts me in shock

We live in a world where you are measured by your appearance

Where you gain no respect, love nor adherence

You can’t talk the way you talk or act the way you act

You’ll get rejected, shunned maybe even attacked

You feel like society has you in a collar

Owning you, your pennies and your dollars

You can’t breathe you’re suffocating

Can’t live up to their expectations

You’re losing your mind and losing your patience

You’re about to blow up and scream ENOUGH!

You know life isn’t smooth it’s very rough

But you can feel it eating you alive

Devouring your soul which you can’t revive

You live your life once no more no less

So why bother living it trying to impress

People nowadays are so obsessed

They’re blind and possessed

They don’t really see what life is about

They’re missing the big picture; they can’t even figure it out

You are who you are don’t let anyone make you feel any less

You’re imperfectly perfect so never allow society to leave you distressed

You are the Lords beautiful creation
