Life, I wonder,
is with its complexity a journey; it is a question that urges a response…
It is neither
the loud day nor the silent night which we seek interrogatively. Rather, they
are an instant manifestation of beauty that raises my wonder!
Through the
calm nights I meditate, think and question: Why, When, and Where? And through
the day I live the moment so as to nourish my existence but never to deny my
identity…
It is this word
that frames the worlds we live in and share our experiences; an
investigation that is worth a life-time experience…
Identity is the
reconciliation of the self, reason, and reality. And once sought, the balance
of all is the paddle of happiness. Fake identities are thus those that
marginalize an essential factor of the above and therefore create, what I shall
call, illusionary worlds of corruption. On the other hand, the tranquility of
the self along with vivid answers to the questions of the “understanding” and a
pragmatic institution from which a life style is derived, are the basic tenets
of this urged identity and the admired happiness.
It is from the
deep sensation and calm consideration that the journey to the happiness is
launched. The search for happiness without reasoning is as obscure as urging
for happiness without sensing the Inside. It is both that we should
ponder upon: the “Inside” and the “Outside”… A journey that
starts with a question as sincere and innocent as an infant seeking a
life…Enlightenment is its end and wisdom is its sword…
Once the Outside
is reconciled with the Inside, a unique intelligence is thus formed, and
this is, according to me, the “Hikmah” that Allah All-mighty praises.
By Outside
I mean the reality, and in as much as I am concerned, the Absolute
reality. The latter is the sphere of necessity that it cannot be otherwise.
This absoluteness is only attributed to the “Absolute” that the “Inside”
will always seek and demand!
And once the Inside
experiences the “Absolute”, the self shines as the lantern does when
filled with oil, as that is the essence of fragrance and the "Absolute"
is the essence of all…
Unfortunately,
the various worlds of illusion are the barriers from reaching enlightenment,
simply because the Inside is distinguished by its inevitable quest for
happiness that is a result of the balance between the three aforementioned
tenets. And the illusionary world, by definition, doesn’t reflect the reality;
thus, abolishing the balance and the originality of the self.
Consequently,
it is faith, a sweet sensation and a bright intelligence, which anchors the
unique strategy of living not only because of its sweetness but also by its
foundations as conjointments with the Divine. And within this battle with the
variable worlds, the key elements of survival are never lost: reason and
revelation…It is an endless quest for survival, as the journey to the Divine is
by itself a demand for Eternity…
