Is life but a mere illusion
Or are we just causing confusion
You claim you know why we are here
But I assure you, you are nowhere near
The world and its desires is what you crave
While I sit here and read in my cave
You say you are here to have fun
While I say, have a nice run
Run, you ask
Yes run, Life is way too fast and you’re chasing after it
Getting up and walking away, you shrug your shoulders and go astray
I lift my hands up and pray
Oh Allah, please have mercy on us today.
