I am the Ocean

I am the Ocean, the mystery that intrigues man

For life flows through me replenishingly

My admirers are many, their commotion spans

Their forms shine in my blue gems bewitchingly

Bemused by the fragrance of dampened salt,

Allured by my harmonic dance with the earth

And soothed by the symphony of my crashing waves

Yet when stirred, I become harbinger of the grave

The sky darkens and tears, and my siblings,

Hurricane and Tempest, wreak havoc in fury

And the earth bellows under the gush of their flurry

What happened, to my calm and grace

I am the Ocean, the mystery that intrigues man
